We will be typing the second day of Week 5 Warmups for the first 10 minutes of class. Please type the handout in the front of the class which is entitled "Know Your Gadget Before You Use it--Etiquettely!".
We had just finished the Excel toolbar assignment we worked on last time.
I do have an excel handout that we will start towards the beginning of the class. I will go over the formulas that are included in the handout (there is a link to the handout above).

Please open up a new document. This will be saved as "Week 4" warmups. Go ahead and finish off the document entitled "Tigress" that should be by your computers. At the end of the 10 minutes, we will make sure the side margins are at 1" and that you have a footer with your name, the period number, and the document name which is "Week 4".
I want the Centering Assignments completed today! I will be doing some picture manipulation today during class while those that need to finish finish.
We are going to start Excel today. That will encompass a spreadsheet that will track costs and expenses.

Please open up "Week 3" warmups and type "Tigress" which will either be by your computers or up front. We will be printing Week 3 WU today so you will make sure it has a footer with your name, period, and "Week 3" on it. Please change the color to a blue or red so we save ink. Check the number of lines and type how many at the bottom of the page. If the document is longer than two pages, please change the size font after you check the line count so it fits on one page.

I am unable to be at school today. You have a substitute.
Please open up Warmup 3 and, from where you left off physically on the screen, please compose an answer to this question: "What would you do with a billion dollars?".
After you type for 10 minutes, please save week 3 and close it. Please open up a new document. I believe we may not have started a table entitled "Personal Acronyms". If we have, please finish it now. If not, then first, I want you to center the title and type in "Personal Acronyms" (all caps), return three times, and then I want you to go up to the menu, click "tables" and then go to "insert". You will create a table that has 2 columns and 15 rows. Please put the acronym in the left column and the actual meaning in the right column. For a sample of acronyms, you can go to the acronym sheet link.
Please center and put in a footer that has your name, the period, and the name of the document.
